Peony II

A handmade paper pink single peony with leaves. With its open centre, this is a very appealing bloom! A classic favourite, peonies are such gorgeous blooms, but their season is so short! This paper version will last for many years.

The painted wooden box is 6 x 9 inches and 1.5 inches deep. It is a dark blue/grey with a faint line running around the inside of the box to frame the flower. There is hanging hardware on the back and it is signed. 

Each of my paper flowers is handmade with care and attention to detail. This sculpture is made from Italian crepe paper, wire, acrylic paint, and glue. Using high quality materials and careful techniques ensures that my flowers will last a long time. This flower has also been sprayed with a UV protectant to prevent fading. I include care tips with each purchase. This unique shadow box would make a fun addition to a cabinet of curiosities, a bookshelf, or an art collection.
