Sweet Pea II

A handmade wild sweet pea flower stem and vine tendril. These flowers grow prolifically on my fence each year. The romantic, old-fashioned blooms are so lovely and hold really well in a vase. These paper blooms will last even longer!

The painted wooden box is 6 x 9 inches and 1.5 inches deep. It is painted a deep purple/grey with a faint line running around the inside of the box to frame the flower. There is hanging hardware on the back and it is signed. 

Each of my paper flowers is handmade with care and attention to detail. This sculpture is made from Italian crepe paper, wire, acrylic paint, and glue. The leaves are made from painted sketch book paper. Using high quality materials and careful techniques ensures that my flowers will last a long time. This flower has been sprayed with a UV protectant to prevent fading. I include care tips with each purchase.
