Garden rose

A Handmade paper rose copied from a rose blooming in my garden. I love working from fresh flowers because it helps me capture the personality of the flower.

The painted wooden box is 6 x 9 inches and 1.5 inches deep. It is painted dark grey inside and out. There is hanging hardware on the back and it is signed. 

Each of my paper flowers is handmade with care and attention to detail. This sculpture is made from doublette crepe paper, wire, acrylic paint, and glue. The leaf is made from painted heavy art paper. Using high quality materials and careful techniques ensures that my flowers will last a long time. This flower has been sprayed with a UV protectant to prevent fading. I include care tips with each purchase.
