A handmade paper red clover in a shadow box frame. Did you know that red clover flowers are edible? The bees love them too. I dry them to make tea in the wintertime. All the little florets in this flower took a long time to make individually. But the result is lifelike and seems to be freshly blooming!
These flowers are made from vintage (1960's) crepe paper. I have painted the paper slightly. The leaves are made of painted card stock.
The solid wood shadow box frame, with glass, is 7.5 x 9". There is hanging hardware on the back. It would look great amongst old books or a nature collection!
The piece will be carefully packaged to ensure that it gets to you in one piece. If you're local, I also offer free pickup from my home in Almonte.
