Red Trillium

A handmade paper red trillium in a deep glass-fronted shadow box frame. This native wildflower, also known as "wake robin", is made from crepe paper. The leaves are painted card stock. Each year I am overjoyed to find these beauties blooming in the spring forest. Their colour is striking and they seem so elegant emerging from the forest floor.

The shadow box frame, with glass, is 6 x 8". There is hanging hardware on the back, but it will sit upright easily on a shelf or table.
