Cosmos II

Two burgundy paper cosmos flowers mounted in a shadow box. These delicate flowers were copied from one of the cosmos growing in my garden. I waited all summer for these to bloom so I could copy them! 

The painted wooden box is 6 x 9 inches and 1 1/2 inches deep. It is black on the outside and white inside. There is hanging hardware on the back and it is signed. 

Each of my paper flowers is handmade with care and attention to detail. This sculpture is made from crepe paper, watercolour paper, wire, paint and glue. Using high quality materials and careful techniques ensures that my flowers will last a long time. I also include care tips with each purchase. This unique shadow box would make a fun addition to a cabinet of curiosities, a bookshelf, or an art collection.
