Violets

Three handmade purple violets with their leaves in a glass-fronted shadow box. I made each flower by carefully painting, gluing, and shaping the paper. These violets are made of crepe paper and the leaves are made from painted card stock. The shallow shadow box frame, with glass, is 7 x 8.5". 

This box would make a lovely little gift for someone who is passionate about gardening, plants, or wildflowers. it has hanging hardware on the back but it will sit nicely on a shelf or bookcase, too.
