White Trillium

This handmade paper White Trillium is mounted into a wooden shadow box frame. Trilliums grow all over the spring forest here in Eastern Ontario. They are such a lovely herald of warmer weather that I just had to capture one in paper! Since you really aren't supposed to pick trillium, this paper version is the perfect way to have one in your home!

The painted wooden box is 8 x 10 inches and 1 3/4 inch deep. It is dark grey on the sides and a brownish grey inside. There is hanging hardware on the back and it is signed. This is a one of a kind piece.

Each of my paper flowers is handmade with care and attention to detail. This flower is made from laminated Italian crepe paper while the leaves are made from painted card stock. Using high quality materials and careful techniques ensures that my flowers will last a long time. This unique shadow box would make a fun addition to a cabinet of curiosities, a bookshelf, or an art collection.
