A paper sculpture of a bergamot flower. AKA monarda or bee balm. This is our native monarda. I used crepe paper to make the flowers and the leaves are made from drawing paper and acrylic paint. This bloom is mounted herbarium-style on a wooden board for display. It is 14" x 5 1/2. A label with both the common and scientific names is mounted below the flower. This piece has a "D" ring on the back for hanging, and it is signed. Each of my botanical sculptures has been sprayed with a UV protectant spray and comes with care information.
