A paper sculpture of a coreopsis flower. I copied this from a plant in my garden. I used crepe paper to make the flowers and the leaves are made from drawing paper painted with acrylic paint. This bloom is mounted herbarium-style on a wooden board for display. It is 16" x 7 3/4". A label with both the common and scientific names is mounted below the flower. This piece has a "D" ring on the back for hanging, and it is signed. Each of my botanical sculptures has been sprayed with a UV protectant spray and comes with care information.
