Dandelions

Paper Dandelions with roots in a grey shadow box. They're a controversial flower but I love Dandelions! Their bright cheerful presence is a sure sign of spring. I made the flowers from crepe paper. The leaves are made from acid free heavy art paper painted with acrylic. The textured background has many soft colours that set off the bright yellow and green of the plants. The box is wooden, 16 x 24 inches, and includes hanging hardware on the back for hanging. This piece is signed.
