Oak Leaves

Part of my tree identification series: handmade paper oak leaves in a shallow shadow box frame. The leaves are labelled with the tree names: Bur Oak and Red Oak.

The painted wooden box is 6 x 9 inches and 3/4 of an inch deep. It is black on the outside and white on the inside. There is hanging hardware on the back and it is signed. 

Each of my paper flowers and leaves are handmade with care and attention to detail. These leaves are made from recycled (acid free) packing paper, painted with acrylic paint, and with wire embedded inside. Using high quality materials and careful techniques ensures that my flowers will last a long time. I include care tips with each purchase. This unique shadow box would make a fun addition to a cabinet of curiosities, a bookshelf, or an art collection.
