A paper sculpture of a purple sweet pea. This little flower was copied from a sweet pea growing just outside my back door. I picked them all summer long! I used crepe paper to make the flowers and the leaves are made from drawing paper and acrylic paint. This bloom is mounted herbarium-style on a wooden board for display. It is 7 3/4" x 4". A label with both the common and scientific names is mounted below the flower. This piece has a "D" ring on the back for hanging, and it is signed. Each of my botanical sculptures has been sprayed with a UV protectant spray and comes with care information.
