A handmade paper wild rose in a shallow glass-fronted shadow box frame. This rose is a Woods' Rose (Rosa woodsii). A few years ago I planted one of these native beauties on my property. So far it is only producing stems and leaves. So I had to imagine the flowers that will (hopefully) eventually emerge. The flowers, leaves, and thorns are made from crepe paper. This piece really has the feel of a vintage botanical illustration. It would look nice amongst other botanical pieces.
The shadow box frame, with glass, is 11 x 14". There is hanging hardware on the back.
