A paper sculpture of a yellow toadflax flower. These little wildflowers bloom in meadows and on roadsides in the early summer. They look like tiny yellow snapdragons. I used crepe paper to make the florets and the leaves are made from drawing paper and acrylic paint. This bloom is mounted herbarium-style on a wooden board for display. It is 12" x 4". A label with both the common and scientific names is mounted below the flower. This piece has a "D" ring on the back for hanging, and it is signed. Each of my botanical sculptures has been sprayed with a UV protectant spray and comes with care information.
